Competition Rules: Streetwise Kleva

1. This competition is open to all South African residents. No employees, associated companies, franchisees, directors, officers and/or agents of YUM Restaurants International (Pty) Ltd, Edcon (Pty) Ltd and KFC franchisees may participate.

2. The number of entries per person is not restricted.

3. The closing date for the submission of your letter by post to PO Box 15077 Vlaeberg 8018 or e-mail: jetclub@tppsa.co.za is the 20th of each month till the competitions comes to an end in the month of November 2011. All submission must reach us on or before the aforesaid date. Postage is at your own cost and your letter/e-mail must be clearly marked as Streetwise Kleva. Your contact telephone number must be included in your submission.

4. No late entries will be accepted.

5. Your letter will be judged by Yum Restaurants International (Pty) Ltd, taking into account your ideas on how to get more for your money, how to save costs, and smart ways to get through the month. If your letter is successful, it will be published in the following issue of the Jet Club Magazine. You will be awarded R1500.00 should your letter be published. The R1500.00 prize money will be awarded in the form of a gift card which Yum Restaurants International (Pty) Ltd would have mailed.

6. Should you be successful and under the age of 18 years, you will require your legal guardian’s consent to receive the award. Only SA citizens may participate.

7. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

8. The participant will be notified telephonically of the publication of his/her submission and may be required to present identification documents before payment is made.

9. On submission of your letter, YUM Restaurants International (Pty) Ltd will obtain all copyright ownership and may publish the letter as and when it deems fit. No further claims may be made on the part of participants should further use be made of any submission (successful or not) for publication in the Jet Club Magazine.

10. By submitting your letter, you and/or any third party, hereby indemnify YUM Restaurants International (Pty) Ltd, its associated companies, franchisees, directors, officers, employees and/or agents against any claims, damage or loss of any nature whatsoever which might be instituted against the aforementioned organisations or their representatives arising from or in connection with or pursuant to the participation in this competition and collecting or using the prize money and media exposure stipulated in the above.

11. The governing law to apply in respect of this promotion is that of the Republic of South Africa under jurisdiction of the South Gauteng High Court.

12. YUM Restaurants International (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to change, add and/or amend any of the abovementioned rules without further notification to any entrant.

13. Participation constitutes acceptance of the rules and instructions pertaining to this competition and entrants agree to abide by these rules.
